The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-round contest which will be shown live on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "break" his opponent as the pair met personally to build hype for the upcoming bout.
Ex two-time world boxing king Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Fighter's Attitude
"I plan to injure his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove my superiority," the British boxer, 35, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to seriously aim to injure him. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
Despite those words, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally famous for his dramatics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Paul instead targeted ex Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian rejected a bout proposal.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at British opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he's present here," the boxer said.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of stating he plans to damage his opponent, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He lost to Briton Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
Still, the relative newcomer is still one of the sport's biggest financial successes, consistently making massive paydays.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old anticipated a KO victory in round four or five and claimed he would stop the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly being planned for two years from now.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul stated.
